High-quality glazed walls: Stable construction and individual design options
neuformtür glazed walls are a stable mullion and transom construction consisting of solid glulam including the appropriate surface coating. Fastening the panes or panels on one side using cover profiles not only offers visual advantages, but also enables user-friendly installation.
The sharp-edged structure of this design sets it apart from conventional rounded DIY store quality at the highest level. To underline this, neuformtür uses a 1.2 mm thick-cut veneer for wooden surfaces. Thanks to an innovative modular system, various connections can be created in the form of couplings of various stiles or connecting stiles according to customer requirements. This not only has the advantage of separating huge areas, but also of dividing rooms as required using corner joints. The maximum possible width in DIN partition walls is 6 meters.

FIRE-RESISTANT GLAZING

The multifunctional glazing consists of several panes of glass with silicate layers in between. In the event of a fire, the outer glass pane facing the fire shatters to allow the fire protection layers to foam up. This activates the so-called fire protection formers. F (fire) glazing not only prevents the spread of fire and smoke, but also the passage of heat radiation.
F glazing becomes opaque when exposed to fire and forms a heat shield - it behaves like walls in terms of fire protection. F glazing requires a general approval from the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt). F glazing is impermeable to radiation and is tested and classified like walls in accordance with the test standard. This means that F-glazing can be used without restriction as room-enclosing walls or as partial areas within them in accordance with the general approval.
It should first be noted that doors and glazing can only be combined if they have the same fire resistance class.
SMOKE CONTROL GLAZING

There is currently no separate test standard for smoke control glazing. Fixed glazing is considered smoke-tight if the following requirements are met:
- use of suitable smoke protection safety glass,
- use of permanently elastic sealants, e.g. silicone,
- sealing of construction joints,
- installation in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
Smoke control glazing is not labeled by the building authorities. The combination of smoke protection doors with smoke protection glazing must be verified by the manufacturer from a permanent functional point of view.
