Wooden block frame
A favourite with architects and a model of versatility
This wooden block frame excels in versatility. It combines form and function, and is the ideal alternative to standardised industrial solutions, expensive frames custom-made by joiners, and less flexible aluminium frames. The block frame is made from laminated wood. It is therefore extremely robust, and is compatible with any surface finish. It allows many different combinations and installation methods, and can, where required, be provided with smoke control, sound insulation and resistance to burglary. It therefore offers great flexibility, not least in terms of dimensions.
The wooden block frame is compatible with all door models, and can be configured for a door that is flush with the wall on both sides. The frame only requires a small section of the wall opening, making it particularly suitable for use in exposed brickwork and thick walls. Even when opposing walls are close together, the frame allows the door to open to 90 degrees – and is the only frame that enables the door leaf to open into the room.
Technology
Edging in many variations
A particular focus is the edging. Depending on building traffic and usage, you can choose between simple foil, thick veneer, high-pressure laminate, and very robust ABS.
